“This past fall OPLI designed and executed Palettes & Passion, our first major fundraiser. A fledgling organization like our lacks the expertise and people-power needed to mount such an event. Not only did OPLI facilitate this event, they involved our Board, not just as clients but as partners, teaching us a great deal about event planning in the process. This culminated in a wonderful evening of fine art, fine wine, entertainment and camaraderie. The goal was not only to raise funds for our Kanata House project, but to bring the issue - lack of shelter for homeless families - to a new audience. We made valuable connections with many people in the community--connections which will help us continue our work in the days ahead.”
