Carla joined On Purpose Leadership in 2008 as an intern working in the areas of event planning and coordination.  She recently graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Kinesiology-Recreation and Sport Administration. Carla also holds a Diploma in Recreation and Leisure Management from SIAST.

Prior to joining On Purpose Leadership, Carla has had a combination of professional and volunteer roles that include:

  • Community Development Assistant – Meewasin Valley Authority
  • Service Staff – Parkville Manor and Canada Safeway
  • Visitor Information Guide – Saskatchewan Railway Museum
  • Customer Service – Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club
  • Town Champion – In Motion

Carla has been a Katimavik participant and enjoys, camping fishing, exercising, playing the piano and reading. Her expertise extends through:

  • Program and Event Planning
  • Administration, Management and Marketing
  • Communication
  • She is proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SPSS and other software applications

Carla is currently supporting On Purpose Leadership's projects such as Saskatchewan Marathon, Race for Recovery, Jingle Bell Run, HBC Run, YMCA Centennial Celebration as well as several internal projects.
